Fall 2026 · Six Sessions over Three Months · Limited to 12 Women
Six Monday evenings. Twelve women. A dedicated circle space
where live gatherings, guided reflection, and ongoing connection
come together — all in service of discovering the unexpected gifts
waiting in the second half of life.
A three-month journey for women standing at the threshold of the second half of life — excavating through active imagination, layered mixed media, and depth-based reflection that this season holds gifts you may not have expected. Live gatherings, guided Wisdom Maps, and circle witnessing all in one dedicated space.
You don’t need to be in crisis. You just need to be curious.
This isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about standing at the threshold with more clarity, more companionship, and more trust in what’s emerging.
A clearer sense of what's ending, what's beginning, and where you actually stand
The experience of being seen and held by women walking the same passage
A Wisdom Map each month — layered mixed media spreads that hold what you are excavating, carried forward in your Book of Wisdom
Freedom from the pressure to have this season figured out — space to simply be in it
Curiosity about what this threshold is asking of you — and trust in what is quietly forming
Whether that's deeper work, continued exploration, or simply living more fully into this season
90 minutes twice a month, live in our dedicated circle space. A consistent container with the same women, building connection and depth over three months.
Everything in one place — Wisdom Maps, live sessions, active imagination, process cards, and conversation with your circle sisters. No scattered emails or multiple platforms.
10-12 women journeying together. Small enough to be seen. Large enough for diverse perspectives. Connected between sessions through shared reflection and conversation.
We land. Breathe. Arrive fully. Leave the week behind and enter the circle together.
I offer a brief teaching on the gift we’re exploring — grounded, accessible, meant to open rather than instruct.
Each woman shares what emerged from her Wisdom Map work — what the making revealed, what surfaced in the active imagination. No cross-talk, no fixing. Just witnessing. This is where the magic lives.
I introduce the active imagination, Wisdom Map, and process cards you’ll work with before we meet again.
We close the circle and name what we’re carrying forward.
The circle continues between gatherings. In your private circle space, you’ll find:
Your Wisdom Map — Each session's active imagination audio, process cards, color palette, and collage materials are waiting for you in your Rise 360 course
Reflection threads — Share what's emerging and witness what's arising for other women
Ongoing conversation — Questions, insights, encouragement from your circle sisters
Plan for about 30-45 minutes of reflection time between sessions. This is gentle work — not homework. And you’ll never wonder where to find things — it’s all in one place.
I’m Terri Altschul — a depth coach, Visual Wisdom Keeper, and woman in my own second half of life.
I’ve spent 30+ years holding space for people in transitions. I’m trained in Jungian depth psychology and the art of circle facilitation. And I believe the second half of life holds gifts we’re rarely taught to expect.
The Threshold Circle is where the Wisdom Mapping practice goes deepest — three months of live guidance, active imagination, and layered mixed media in the company of women crossing the same threshold.
I created this circle because I know what it’s like to stand at a threshold wondering what comes next. And I know how powerful it is to do that wondering in the company of women who understand.

Registration opens Summer 2026.
The Threshold Circle is a beautiful introduction to this work. For some women, it’s exactly enough. For others, it opens an appetite for more.
If you find yourself wanting deeper, more personalized exploration, The Second Half of Life Journey offers six months of 1:1 depth coaching — including Jungian psychology, somatic awareness, and visual practice.
The Threshold Circle opens the door. The Journey takes you all the way through.
No. I'm a coach, not a therapist. This circle is for women navigating normal life transitions who want reflection and companionship — not clinical treatment.
Life happens. If you need to miss a circle, you'll have access to the recording in your circle space and can stay connected with the conversation. However, consistent attendance matters — the container builds on itself, and your presence matters to the other women.
A journal, some magazines you can cut up, a glue stick, and whatever coloring materials you have around (colored pencils, markers). Simple supplies you likely already own.
Sharing is invited, not required. Some weeks you may have a lot to say; other weeks you may need to listen. Both are welcome.
Not at all. The imagery practices are simple — working with colors, cutting images from magazines, and arranging symbols. No drawing or painting required. This is about reflection, not art-making.
When is the next Threshold Circle?

Once the circle has begun, there are no refunds. Your commitment matters — to yourself and to the other women in the circle. This is why we keep the group small: every seat counts.
The threshold is a powerful place — a space between what was and what’s becoming.
You don’t have to stand there alone.
